Ahmad, Nour and an AI Sultan Al Neyadi for TII

Three talking 3D characters for TII: Ahmad for its Falcon language model, Nour for its Noor model, and a replica of astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi running on Falcon 180B.

What we built

Ahmad speaks English and represents Falcon, TII's English-language model. Nour speaks Arabic and represents Noor, its Arabic model. Both run on a PC, and the demo switches between the two languages and the two models.

The third character is Sultan Al Neyadi, the first Arab astronaut to walk in space. It reproduces his appearance, voice and mannerisms, runs on Falcon 180B, and lets people talk to him about his journey and his work in space.

How it was built

Each character is a realistic 3D model connected to speech-to-text, one of TII's language models and text-to-speech. A visitor speaks; the character answers out loud.

Where it was shown

The characters were shown with TII at GITEX and at Web Summit 2024 in Lisbon.

The Sultan Al Neyadi character was also part of a Virtual Minds presentation to the office of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
